NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS WELCOMES EVAN MATTHEW GODSEY

               CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series welcomes Evan Matthew Godsey into the world, and congratulates his proud parents Steve and Jeana Godsey of Bedford, IN.  Evan was born on Wednesday morning at 2:52 a.m.   He passed the post-birth technical inspection by weighing in at four pounds and 14 ounces and measuring 18 inches long.

               Evan is now a part of a well-known racing family in Indiana, as his dad Steve is the defending NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Indiana State Champion, and the defending Crate Racin’ USA Fall Nationals and Race of Regions Champion.  Evan’s grandpa is National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame Inductee Ray Godsey.

               Steve Godsey reports that Evan and mom are doing well, but like his dad and grandpa, Evan was in a hurry, as he was born five and a half weeks early and will be spending at least another week in the hospital.
