Cochran, GA – The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series heads to Chris and Joni Martin’s Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA this Saturday night April 29th for a $3,000 to win, 50 lap main event.

This will mark the second appearance for the Chevy Super Series at the 3/8th mile oval located on the outskirts of Cochran after their first visit in 2016 where eventual 2016 National Champion Tyler Crowder picked up the win. There have been two different winners in two events to date during the 2017 season with Cruise with the Champions Rookie of the Year candidate Cory Hedgecock taking the season opening win at 411 Motor Speedway and Riley Hickman picking up the second feature event at Boyd’s Speedway.

The race for the 2017 Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series National Championship and 2017 Cruise with the Champions Rookie of the Year honors are sure to excite as many drivers have expressed their intentions to take home each. Six Rookie of the Year Candidates are locked in a tight battle, while the overall championship is far from being decided. However, heading into Cochran’s event the bull’s eye will be on current points and Rookie of the Year leader, Devin Dixon. Dixon and the Big Frog Motorsports team have been consistent through the first two events with strong runs to secure the top spot.
